Basic objective of conducting this programme is to develop well-qualified highly skilled teachers for imparting higher education with global and national vision. Thrust area of this programme is development of teachers who are interested in teaching and research.

Objectives Of M.Ed Programme

  • Developing teaching techniques and curriculum assessment process.
  • Development of abilities for self-reflection about what teachers should know and do.
  • Masters of Education is a postgraduate academic degree in education which includes specializations like curriculum and instruction, counseling, school psychology.
  • Some of the key topics covered in the programme include - Foundations of education, advances in education, methodology of educational research and educational statistics, comparative education, teacher education, value education and human rights, curriculum development, educational measurement and evaluation etc.
